Turning the valley of Baca into pools of rain

three men standing near waterfalls

The entire chapter of Psalm 84 is so beautiful as well as profound. It is one that needs to be read solemnly, with each verse pondered over prayerfully. It is one of deep longing for God and high blessedness from Him.

However, today, I want to use verse 6 to encourage someone reading this. Let’s read.

Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

Psalm 84:6

It could be that you are passing through the valley of Baca – a dry, sandy, non-motorable place. You seem stuck at a point, and no help is in sight.

With your midnight tears and cries of disappointment, failures, and sicknesses, you have transformed the dry ground into wetness. In fact, you are dehydrated, lean, pale, and weak from exhaustion and the heat of your unending sorrows.

Beloved, the Psalmist wants you to start digging wells immediately because there is blessedness coming. Today, take steps of faith and do things you have not done before – trusting God by taking a bold step towards victory.

If you have done it before, please do it again. Dig those wells, those ditches, because tonight God is sending rain to turn the valley of Baca into pools of rain. There is a sound of abundance of rain.

Whatever that digging of wells (steps of faith) represents for you, go ahead and do them in faith. Then, wait for the refreshing. Because God is:

Turning the valley of tears and weeping into a pool of refreshment and spiritual supplies
Turning the valley of mourning into a pool of rejoicing
Turning the valley of sorrow into a pool of joy
Turning the valley of hurt into a pool of healing
Turning the valley of hate into a pool of love
Turning the valley of retrogression into a pool of progression
Turning the valley of disappointment into a pool of promotion
Turning the valley of failure into a pool of acceleration
Turning the valley of cries into a pool of smiles
Turning the valley of death into the pool of life
Turning the valley of thirst into a pool of hydration
Turning the valley of sicknesses into a pool of good health
Turning the valley of cries into a pool of laughter

May God answer your prayers and cause the blessedness of Psalm 84 to be yours. I am waiting for your testimonies.

God bless and keep you.
