When you don’t know your history, Satan will feed your mind with fabricated stories that seem true but are blunt lies. The result is that you’ll become a captive of stories that were baked on the coals of hell and served in your moments of wrong meditation.
When you don’t know the scriptures, satan will feed you with lies that may seem insurmountable. But as always, when you turn on the light, darkness will disappear. And suddenly you’ll discover that the supposed masquerade that was making noise was actually a cricket.
Shall we see some of those cakes that are baked on the coals of hell?
That you can never be free from sin.
This is one of the greatest lies of satan. He continues to feed this lie into our minds that we can’t be free from any form of sin seeing that we’re like fishes in the water. That we can’t be free from adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings and the like.
Just like all liars, satan always tells complete lies or half-truths. We indeed live in a world that lies in wickedness, but the correct history is that Jesus prayed for us that God will keep us and it’s a known truth that God is able to keep those committed in His hands. (John 17:11-15; Zechariah 2:8) We have been made free from sin – Romans 6:22. Once I know the truth, which is Jesus, and the finished work at Calvary, my freedom from the chains of sin is automatic. John 8:32. Romans 6:14.
Adam sold you to me and you’ll remain slaves to sin. You’re under my authority.
My history is that I have been bought at a great price, the price of Christ’s blood -1 Corinthians 7:20. Yes, first Adam sinned, and as his offspring, I got the nature of sin and condemnation, but by the righteousness of the last Adam (Jesus Christ), I received justification unto life. Romans 5:12-21.
So, I’m no longer a slave to sin, I am a servant of righteousness – Romans 6:18; Galatians 5:1; 1 Peter 2:16. I indeed followed after lies, lust, murder, fornication, adultery, and drunkenness in the past. But I remember that I gave my life to Christ and there is, therefore, no condemnation for me – Romans 8:1; John 3:16-18; 2 Corinthians 5:17. And God is able to keep me from falling until the very end – Jude verse 24; Isaiah 43:1-3.
You are flesh and blood, so you are weak.
The Lord is my strength and my song and He shall strengthen me – Exodus 15:2; Isaiah 41:10.
Yes, I carry flesh and blood, but I’m also made in the image of God, and the weapons I deploy during warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to pull down anything contrary to God’s will – 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. I am God’s battle axe and His weapon of war – Jeremiah 51:20-24. Also, I am a god – Psalms 82:6. So, I’m powerful, I’m strong, I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me – Philippians 4:13. And I’m a man/woman wondered at – Zechariah 3:8.
Your dominion over the earth was lost; It now belongs to me.
After the sin of Adam, God promised satan that the seed of the woman (Christ) shall bruise his head – Genesis 3: 15. This was accomplished by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. So, having become a born again Christian, my dominion over satan and the entire earth as declared by God in Genesis 2:28 has been restored. I’m dwelling in high places with Christ, far above principalities and powers – Ephesians 1:20-23; Philippians 2:9-11; for by Him are all things created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones or dominions, or principalities or powers – Colossians 1:16-17. And Christ has given me power over serpents and scorpions, and over all the powers of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt me – Luke 10:19. I dominate, I rule as God has commanded. Satan, you lost again!
People who serve God are poor. And to become wealthy you must bow to me seeing (that) I am the god of this age.
Yes, satan is the god of this age that has blinded the eyes of the unbelievers – 2 Corinthians 4:4. But to think that he controls the resources on earth is a total fallacy. The Bible states in Psalms 24:1 that the earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof: the world, and they that dwell therein. We just need to apply the divine principles for wealth creation and they’ll become ours. He said, “Ask of me and I’ll give you the heathen for your inheritance and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession” – Psalms 2:8.
Also in Matthew 7:7-11, He says, “Ask and you will receive, seek and you’ll find, knock and the door will be opened unto you….” For a cattle upon a thousand hill is the LORD’s – Psalms 50:10. God fed over 3 million people with manna and other delicacies for 40 years in the wilderness; Jesus multiplied a few loaves and fishes for thousands of people and you think He can’t give you the secrets to divine riches and prosperity? – Job 28:7-8.
Father Abraham was very rich in cattle, silver, and gold – Genesis 13:2. It got to a point that he had to separate from Lot because the entire land was too small for their possession. Do you know that Isaac was so rich that he was richer than an entire country put together? The man waxed great, and went forward and grew until he became so great that King Abimelech had to calmly ask him to leave the country because he was now too big for them – Genesis 26:12-17. God gave him an agricultural secret that transformed his entire business enterprise.
What will I say of Solomon that was so madly rich that kings and queens came from distant lands to admire his wealth, wisdom and administrative skills? He imported the best materials to construct the temple of God in Jerusalem. At first, he sacrificed a thousand burnt offerings in Gibeon, and during the dedication of the temple in Jerusalem, he offered twenty-two thousand oxen, and a hundred and twenty thousand sheep – 1 Kings 3:4; 8:63. You know how wealthy you must be to sacrifice such number of animals to God, besides how much he spent in constructing the Temple?
Anyway, those days when they mocked us for serving God are gone because we’re setting the pace on what true wealth is and how to get it. And it will continue because Jesus became poor that I may be rich in all ramifications – 2 Corinthians 8:9. We won’t play according to the rules of Satan, but we’ll still be rich and do the works of our God. Satan, how many zeros now?
The prodigal son will eat the food meant for the swine forever.
That is, a sinner or backslider will never be restored to God seeing that God is angry with the wicked every day.
While it is true that God is angry with the wicked every day, it’s also true that God doesn’t want any person to perish but that all should come to repentance – 2 Peter 3:9. God is pleading for our return like the Father of the prodigal son. And once anyone genuinely returns, God will run out to welcome him or her back to the sheepfold – Zechariah 1:3; Luke 15:11-24; Matthew 18:12-14. “Come and let’s reason together,” says the Lord, “because I’m willing to cleanse you” Isaiah 1:18; for if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us – 1 John 1:9.
That you’ll die in want, fear, failures, anxiety and depression.
God has given us the spirit of boldness, power and a sound mind- 1 Timothy 1:7. Wisdom for success comes from God – James 1:5; promotion comes neither from the East, west nor South, but from God – Psalms 75:6. Christ spoiled principalities and powers and made an open show over of them – Colossians 2:15. Christ has the keys of hell and death – Revelation 1:18. “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” will be our song at the end as death will be swallowed up in victory – 1 Corinthians 15:54-58.
In the world, there are wars and crises but in Christ is peace. Be cheerful for Christ has overcome the world – John 16:33 and He will come and save you – Isaiah 35:4. For the Lord shall supply all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus – Philippians 4:19
Don’t be anxious about tomorrow because God is there already – Matthew 6:34. Do not be afraid of ten thousand that set themselves against you – Psalms 3:6. But be still and know that He is God – Psalm 46:10.
