Paul, preaching in the centre of Aeropagus in Athens, said of Jesus,
In him, we live
In him, we move
In him, we have our being. (Acts 17:28)

This is part of what Jesus Christ intended when he said,
I am the way (we walk in the way – Him)
I am the truth (we live by truth – Him)
I am the life (we have our being/essence in his life – Him). – John 14:6

This is also part of what God intended in Ephesians 2:10:
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus (in Him, we have our being)
for good works, which God prepared beforehand (in Him, we live)
that we should walk in them. (in Him, we move)

If you will ever lead the true life, if you will ever walk in the right way, if you will ever discover the essence of your existence, you must do that in Christ Jesus.

We are His offspring, and He is our Father.
