Nnem, I was thinking about you this morning; what you’ve been through, and still going through — lack of food, wears, accommodation, so many disappointments, failures, health crisis, loss of loved ones, no job, a seemingly bleak future etc — and I felt it’ll be nice if I told you something from my heart: “I care about you”
It might sound weird, but I want you to know that my dream is to make you happy. You’re not alone on this, I’m standing with you though you neither know me nor has yet seen me.
You’re the reason I wake up and try to work hard to attain a certain height. I hope to be able to offer a more tangible help to you. You’re the reason I do what I do.
You see Nkem(my own), that we’re still breathing is an indication of Gods interest in us; that He’s working out something good for us.
Remember how a constellation of diseases so battered Job’s body after he lost his children and riches that he nearly cursed God?
But do you remember what God told satan not to touch? Yes, his soul. You’re a living soul because of Gods breath in you.
I’m sure you remember how the story of Job ended ‘‘the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning’’
I know it’s very difficult and quite devastating when you’re in the middle of boisterous winds; I know it’s depressing when no balm seems to soothe your pains. But don’t ever lose hope.
Though Jesus seems to be sleeping, He’s there and the boat won’t sink no matter the turbulence! A help will come soon and peace will be restored.
Take good care of yourself Nnem and don’t forget to smile. In fact, I want you to smile now.
I hope to see you soonest my dear. Till then, always remember that there’s someone praying for you and working hard to help you. You’re not alone.
I love you Nnem.*Baci*
