The man I met long ago
The man I met long ago was pushy
For on his mind lay so much goody
Understanding this was deadly
Because he failed to be godly
Desiring to control the future
He neglected the present
Focusing on the promise of tomorrow
He forgot the gift of today
The man I met long ago was peaceful
Until he followed the sinful
Who spoke very warful
Till he was no longer hushful
Thoughtful, thorough but touchy
He swaggered his hips proudly
Thinking everyone around lowly
He ended up dusty
With the guilt and weight of his labour
He met me on the road to the harbour
Because he was now very feeble
After years of doing much evil
The man I met long ago is Gi
Because I was able to see
What shall be of me
If I forsook the Key.
