Never come to a point in your life where your present (and I add, temporary) status makes you despise others, relegating good friends to the background because ‘you’re no longer in their class.’
For I tell you, life is too long to feel you can live as an island. Someday you’ll realize how poor you are without those ‘poor’ friends, as shame will slowly suck life out of you.
It is important to stay humble the higher you go
Besides God, another thing that is constant is change. Therefore, stay humble for no one knows tomorrow.
