My loving Jesus, I’ve dwelt long on this Mountain! It’s time to appreciate. I no longer wish to know You only as a Spirit, or the Man who was written in the Bible. I’m no longer comfortable rehearsing my old experiences. And although I’m in love with the descriptions I see in Your WORD, I desperately desire to describe You in my own words; descriptions borne out of an INTIMATE relationship with you.
Deuteronomy 1 verse 6: The Lord our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying: ‘You have dwelt long enough at this mountain.’
Philippians 3 verse 10: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.
