Life is a series of cause and effect; a compendium of waking up and sleeping and everything in between, but it’s also a sum of big and small decisions.
How well we enjoy our sleep can be traced to the decisions we make while awake. Those decisions also determine how we feel as we go through our years on the earth.
Every day in life is reputed important, from when we are born to when we depart this earth. Every hour is valuable from when we rise in the morning to when we lie down at night. Every moment is important and should be enjoyed.
However, there are moments in life that define the trajectory of our life more than others. Such moments can cause a shift whose effects can last for weeks, months, years, or an entire lifetime. It can be a casual meeting, a simple yes or no answer, an unassuming opportunity, or a divine encounter with God.
What happens next could be a series of events that completely alter our life and destination.
Solomon had just become the king who completed the Temple of God. Israel was excited about his reign as he had inherited the throne from his father. Soon after that was a defining moment for him and his reign. Two women came with a tough case before him. A case that required extraordinary wisdom to tackle. To make his decision, Solomon called on the supernatural wisdom God had just bestowed upon him. Through this, he restored the living child to the right mother. The news spread throughout the land, and everyone revered King Solomon because of the wisdom displayed. Solomon consolidated his kingship by that judgment. He understood a major defining moment and exploited it well.
